Upon moving to Paris in 2017, I was inspired to produce a four-part web series based on my experience as a gay Latino in Europe. “Intermediate French” follows a fictionalized version of myself as he navigates the very white-American and idealized space of moving to Europe. With maletas, cultural identity issues, and false expectations in hand, David searches for belonging far from home.

This series has been featured by Paris-based websites and agencies including Messy Nessy Chic and Content Cooperative.
